Linda Cisick, Executive Director

Linda Cisick is the Executive Director of Child and Family Support Services, Inc. She has been with the company since 1995. Mrs. Cisick has provided the leadership to see CFSS through the growth and expansion it has experienced over the last 15 years . Under her guidance, the company has expanded and grown, offering services in both Schuylkill and Berks County.

Mrs. Cisick received her License in Practical Nursing in 1977 from Sacred Heart School of Practical Nursing. She attended Ursinus College for Psychology and Reading Area Community College for Marketing. She received her Master’s Degree in Human Services in 1993 from Lincoln University.

Mrs. Cisick has spent most of her career in Human Services. She was the Director of Advocacy as well as Fundraising for over 10 years within the ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens). She was the founding Director of the Bucks County Chapter of the Association for Retarded Citizens. In the early 1990’s she co-founded Penn Foundation, an educational and advocacy non-profit. This organization provides educational opportunities for non-profits providing Services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Mrs. Cisick has received commendations from Senator Michael O’Pake for her work in the field. She was identified by Governor Tom Ridge as a Leader in the Field and invited to participate in a Leadership Development Program, "Leadership 2000" that enabled her to work closely with the policy makers and Governor in developing the future of Services for Persons with Developmental Disabilities in the State of Pennsylvania.


Dr. Chris Eleftherios, President, CEO

Child and Family Support Services, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Dr. Chris Eleftherios, a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist.

Dr. Eleftherios has over 40 years of experience in delivering community mental health services.
Over the years we have evolved into a multi-specialty organization incorporating many of the procedure and practices of some of the other organizations started by Dr. Eleftherios. Dr. Eleftherios was also a principal and founder of Psychological Support Services of King of Prussia, one of the first behavioral health care practices to work in a capitated health care delivery system within a managed care environment in the mid 1980’s. Additionally, he was a principal in Biocare Associates, Employee Assistance Consultants and The Brief Therapy Institute of PA.

Dr. Eleftherios hold advanced degrees in School and Clinical Child Psychology. In Addition, he completed post doctoral training in Neuropsychology at the University of PA and was awarded a Certificate in Comprehensive Health Planning from the University of Virginia where he also completed his psychology studies.

Who we are:

CFSS, Inc. provides Mental Health services to consumers of all ages, collaboratively across all settings in a multicultural sensitive manner. Many of our therapists are multilingual and all treatment is provided in a culturally competent manner.

At CFSS, Inc. we strive to be sensitive to the styles, religion, strengths and weaknesses of various cultural groups. We believe these attributes to be an important aspect of the consumer’s total psychological makeup.

CFSS, Inc. continues to grow and expand its services:

We currently offer treatment services in Berks and Schuylkill counties to over 1,200 consumers. In 2007 we opened our first office in Pottsville. We also continue to add satellite sites within local rural communities. In 2010, CFSS, Inc. was awarded a contract to provide Student Assistance Program Liaisons in all 12 school districts.

We provide two full-time Masters’ Level Therapists who provide assessments and referrals to children referred by the school districts and community for mental health, drug and alcohol issues. Group therapy within the district buildings is offered at the request of School Administration.

To date, we have over 62 staff members across all of our treatment facilities offering therapeutic, psychological and psychiatric services. We accept medical assistance at all of our treatment facilities
